JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Manager of Business Development
Reports To: Director of Business Development
Location: Beijing, China
IMTM is seeking a top-performing client relationship and solution sales manager to pursue domestic and international business opportunities. The candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit, relevant industry experience and demonstrated selling attributes/techniques.
The job of the business development is typically to identify new business opportunities, whether that means new markets, new partnerships with other businesses, new ways to reach existing markets, or new product or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets and then to go out and exploit those opportunities to bringing more revenue.
Position Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Design,implement, and execute annual marketing/sales plan for the firm.
2. Write proposals for new business, and participate in planning and presentation sessions, when assigned.
3. Design, implement, and manage the firm's electronic marketing efforts including Website design and maintenance.
4. Support international business development activities including:
· Coordinating with Oversea Business Development partners.
· Traveling internationally to meet with key potential customers to bring in more revenue.
5. Develop and manage external vendors for exiting and new projects when assigned.
6. Participate and attend relevant trade shows domestically and internationally to develop new business opportunities and manage existing business programs.
7. Conduct competitive analysis and bench marking for assigned products.
8. Provide input into positioning and pricing of the assigned products.
9. Manage end of product lifecycle and transition to minimize inventory and ensure launchtime frames are met.
10. Initiate and maintain relationships with industry trade groups, analysts and publications.
Position Requirements
Education: B.S. degree required. Concentration in Engineering preferred.
MBA with an emphasis in Marketing highly preferred.
Experience: At least 5 years in marketing/sales role with in industry environment. Experience in relationship
building that increase account penetration and leads to increased revenue opportunities with existing clients
Aproven track record in developing and executing a marketing/sales program.
Required Skills: Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with management team and engineering team at alllevels in the organization.
Must possess top-level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
Excellent communication skills, which include presentations.
Beable to communicate well in both English and Chinese in terms of speaking and writing.
Ability to travel up to 35% of time (domestically and internationally)
Special Skills: Background in inkjet media marketing and sales a plus.
